Kurt Kondrich is the proud father of seven-year-old Chloe who has Down syndrome. Individuals like Chloe couldn’t have a more passionate and effective cheerleader than Kurt. The Arizona immigration law started discussions about profiling. But Kurt believes, and I totally agree, this is exactly what’s being done to preborn children with Down syndrome. Over eighty-percent are aborted if they’re diagnosed before birth. Kurt says this is nothing more than “prenatal disability profiling”. These children are daily being profiled and targeted. Their only “crime” is they are not perfect. And Kurt, a retired police officer, can’t recall a single case involving an individual with Down syndrome. Let’s stop prenatal disability profiling of the unborn.
