China is well known for its cruel one-child policy. They force women to undergo abortion, even in late pregnancy to lower the nation’s population. In a south China province, a mortuary worker was just about to throw the coffin of an aborted baby into a furnace for cremation. He stopped in his tracks when he heard the cry of a baby. The baby boy was almost full-term, so he rushed him back to the hospital. But officials wouldn’t treat him, leaving him in the lobby to die. Once they were very sure he was dead this time, his little corpse was sent back to the funeral home. This wasn’t an isolated case. Horrific and documented stories continue to flow from China—a country with one of the worst human rights records in history.
