What do unborn babies have in common with worn out tennis shoes? Quite a lot. More than forty young people just completed a walk across America to draw attention to the plight of our nation’s unborn babies from abortion. Walking day and night and braving rain or shine, some of America’s best youth spent twelve weeks standing up for life. The group is called Crossroads and they’ve been doing these walks for over a decade. Starting on the West Coast, they walked through thirty-six states and countless cities and towns. Their walk fittingly ended in Washington, DC where current law maintains abortion-on-demand throughout pregnancy. Everywhere these kids went, they’ve been a witness to others about the sanctity of life. Afterward, I’ll bet they went to the mall for new tennis shoes.
