Dear friends,
I've had about 10 calls already regarding Susan G. Komen and their funding of Planned Parenthood.
I went to Lowes this morning to buy some flourescent tubes and the cashier asked me if I wanted to add a contribution to by my bill to fight cancer. I saw a Komen sign and told her no....they contribute to Planned Parenthood. She was a Latino woman and didn't know what I was talking about. She had a hard time with english.
Just about every store you will go in during "fight Cancer Month"...ironically it is also Respect Life month for Catholics......is pushing the Komen Fund.
Even in church there are people who have been helped by the Komen fund and don't care that they are connected with the Planned Parenthood, the #1 killer of unborn babies in America.
Please take time to review this web site and forward it to your family and friends...there are other cancer fighting organizations who are not associated with PP.

Bravo and many thanks to Bill Miller for raising the awareness of others! Also, let's not forget Komen's support for embryonic stem cell research in awarding grants specifically for this type of research. Lastly, the members of the board, specifically Susan Komen's sister, served on the board of Planned Parenthood and the Komen board members are lining their pockets with the donations of those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Please consider making donations to the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute. It is worthy of the Catholic support.
