Walter Hoye is a Black minister in Oakland, California. He and members of his church were alarmed the local abortion mill was targeting their Black community. So they began to reach out to women going in for abortions. They were so successful, the city council passed a law saying pro-lifers couldn’t come within eight feet of women going into the mill. But at the same time, abortion mill staff was able to approach the women at any time. This was blatantly content-based discrimination. And even the ultra-liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals agreed. It issued a unanimous decision the law was unconstitutional. Through all this Reverend Hoye suffered arrest, prosecution and imprisonment—all done for the sake of the Kingdom and to save babies. God bless you Walt.
