A mother was seven-and-a-half months pregnant with twin boys whom she’d already named when doctors told her one of the babies had a congenital heart defect. It would require surgeries with a risk of death. She followed their recommendation to abort the sick baby. But the hospital killed the wrong child. When they realized their mistake, they also aborted the sick baby first intended for death. The hospital called it a terrible tragedy and said their sympathies were with the family. But both they and the family ended up killing both boys to keep the sick one from living. It’s a tragedy any child was intentionally killed. The doctors should have promised the parents they’d do all within their power to keep both boys alive, and let God determine the final outcome. God is the authur of life and only he should end it
