Professor William Kearns presented his finding to the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. He found a three-day-old embryo with an incorrect number of chromosomes is capable of fixing itself. The tiny human being undergoes a process of genetic normalization. This means on day five, after further development, he or she can have the correct number of chromosomes. This doesn’t always happen, but this new research shows just how miraculous the process of human development is. But then again, if God created us, we’ve got to be amazing!
